We're delighted to announce our two amazing guest speakers: Dell Higgie and Dimity Hawkins.
Dell Higgie is a former NZ Disarmament Ambassador, and whom was Vice-President of the UN Conference that negotiated the TPNW in 2017. Dell played a central role in the creation of the TPNW and has been following its progress in the five years since it's Entry into Force (EIF).
Dimity Hawkins, is one of the founding members of ICAN (International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons), she served as an early Director, and has been a core member of the Australian Board since 2006. She now works as Program Coordinator of the Nuclear Truth Project. Dimity has a deep history of work advocating against Nuclear Weapons - both within ICAN and her own personal study and projects. She has recently finished a PhD examining nuclear weapons testing and decolonisation in the Pacific, with a focus on Fiji.
