This site contains educational material on disarmament including the UN Study on Disarmament and Non Proliferation Education.

Middle Powers Initiative

Contains the full text of Robert Green's book Fast Track to Zero Nuclear Weapons: The Middle Powers Initiative , details of the 8 non-governmental cosponsoring organisations and their programme activities.

Parliamentary Network for Nuclear Disarmament

PNND is an non-partisan forum for parliamentarians nationally and internationally to share resources and information, develop cooperative strategies and engage in nuclear disarmament issues, initiatives and arenas.

World Court Project UK

Contains documents relating to the World Court's 1996 Advisory Opinion and how it is being used by peace groups, and in particular the Trident Ploughshares 2000 .

International Peace Bureau

The International Peace Bureau was founded in 1892 and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1910. It has consultative status at the United Nations and was one of the cosponsors of the World Court Project. This site contains information about its programmes on Nuclear Disarmament, Women, Conflicts and the Hague Appeal for Peace Conference; member organisations and publications.

IALANA

The International Association of Lawyers Against Nuclear Arms was another World Court Project cosponsor. The site contains a bibliography of articles on the ICJ Advisory Opinion, and a copy of the Model Nuclear Weapons Convention.

International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War

IPPNW was also a cosponsor of the World Court Project. This site includes their programmes, publications and membership details.

Lawyers Committee on Nuclear Policy

LCNP is the US branch of IALANA and was extremely active on the World Court Project. It has an extensive list of publications associated with the World Court Opinion and analysis on UN disarmament resolutions.

Nuclear Age Peace Foundation

Abolition 2000 is based here and provides regular electronic newsletters including details of forthcoming actions. There are some useful articles under the "International Law" section.

Global Anti Nuclear Alliance (GANA)

The World Court Advisory Opinion on Threat and Use of Nuclear Weapons, including ALL the Separate Opinions of ALL the Judges, the Canberra Report, the CTBT Text and Protocol, the NPT text, the 1925 Gas Protocol, the Nuremberg Principles and the Model Nuclear Weapons Convention

The Acronym Institute.

A useful scholarly site which includes the full text of important documents such as the "A Nuclear-Weapon-Free World. The Need for a New Agenda" statement in 1998 by Ireland, Sweden, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Slovenia, Egypt and New Zealand. Publishes regular reports from the Conference on Disarmament and the UN General Assembly as well as its prestigious Disarmament Diplomacy journal .

ICJ

The International Court of Justice site. Texts of Advisory Opinion and separate opinions of the judges (some in French). General information about the ICJ.

ICRC

The International Committee of the Red Cross site. A very important series of articles for the International Committee of the Red Cross from several points of view.

Peace and Goodwill Site

A large and interesting site with material and documentation on International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, arms and armaments, children in war and peace, chemical warfare legacy, biological warfare legacy, landmines etc.

UNGA

The United Nations General Assembly part of the UN site. Relevant resolutions referring to the UNGA request for an Advisory Opinion and follow-up resolutions.

Pacific Connections

An excellent site highlighting issues relating to indigenous peoples of the Pacific.

People for Nuclear Disarmament (Western Australia)

A good abolition site with specific information about Australia and the Pacific Region.

The Hague Appeal for Peace Conference

Information about this major conference at the Hague in May 1999.

The Institute for Law and Peace

Seeks to promote respect for the universal right of civilians to seek protection by law from indiscriminate attack and weapons of mass destruction.

Trident Ploughshares 2000

Supporters will endeavour to peacefully disarm the British Nuclear Trident submarine system until the UK starts to comply with international law and eliminate its nuclear arsenals.

Bradford Peace Museum

A description of the Peace Museum in Bradford where the World Court Projects' 3.8 million Declarations of Public Conscience are stored.
